Many of our friends know us a Spirit Wing, the contemporary Native American musical group that plays during dancer’s breaks at Powwows and at festivals such as: Bethlehem Musik Fest, Philadelphia Folk Festival, Cultural Survival, Weekend at Bertha’s, etc.
Though most know us as a band, with Chris Hawley (bass) , since 2019 we travel mostly as a duo.
Barbara Andrews-Christy plays Native American Flute and does vocals and I (Barry Lee) plays guitar and also sing.
Our music draws from a the traditional music and contemporary styles. We have been nominated for a Native American Music Award seven times.

Reaffirming the sacred agreement between the Native People and William Penn by presenting a replica of the wampum belt given to William Penn. The actual belt can be seen at the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
