a song about the massacre by the 7th Cavalry upon the Cheyenne village in Oklahoma. An easy target as the men were on a hunt and the village was at peace, even flying an American flag.
WARRIOR OF THE NORTH PRARIE Lee/Christy
written about the plight of Lenard Peltier, who was finally pardoned by Pres. Joe Biden after being incarcerated for 49 years

Barbara wrote these lyrics after a “dress down” day at the office, but she was admonished because she wore her beaded moccasins.
The struggle in living in two cultures is something many people experience.

written by the great Country Music legend Marty Robbins addressing the cost of progress as he observed the changes coming to the American dessert. It’s a great ecological song.
